About Me Born in Anchorage, Alaska to two enlisted Air Force parents, I've spent a good portion of my life moving from place to place. Travelling to and from the various corners and sections of the states, my family and I were exposed to different people and ways of life. Throughout all the moves, (8 different schools before I graduated) we were taught a sort of self-reliance that has gotten us through many odd patches in life. The escapism of books and the drive for something new hasn't always been rewarding but the sheer thrill of discovering a new book or a brilliant author, more than makes up for the stinkers.
